Hedwig’s on the cusp — pushing the edge
Hedwig Dances seeks professional dancers for its 2023 season with a special call for dancers who identify as male. All who audition need to have a strong background in modern, ballet, partnering and somatic techniques, as well as improvisation experience.
Hedwig Dances integrates a strong visual art and design aesthetic into its stage work, including projections, set design and objects.

TO AUDITION we require in advance the following:
Our season includes annual performances in Chicago and potential touring. Rehearsals begin in January, 2023. Dancers must be available 12-15 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the day for rehearsals.
