SYZYGY is an examination of the alignment of opposing forces: three celestial bodies found in orbit, the pairing of chromosomes in the process of meiosis, the human psyche in a balancing act between the shadow, the persona, and the self. Choreographed for Hedwig Dances by guest artist Mike Tyus, an award-winning dancer, choreographer, and creative director from Los Angeles, California, Syzygy reminds us that all things are connected, bound to a universal dance that moves for a millennia and day.
